Drobo Partner Advantage (DPA) is a worldwide channel program, designed for Value-Added Resellers (VARs), System Integrators (SI), and Solution Providers (SP), that provides partners with a solid infrastructure to sell and support the Drobo family of products.

The DPA program provides a collaborative, profitable partnership that enables partners to increase their sales revenue, while offering the best storage solutions for businesses.

DPA is ideal for partners selling storage products into a variety of markets, as well as expanding and complementing their current storage portfolio. DPA offers two levels of membership – Authorized and Certified – each with an array of resources, sales and marketing tools and joint marketing opportunities. The DPA partners are recognized and rewarded for the value they offer in the marketplace, as well as their level of investment in Drobo.

Program Levels & Benefits

The Drobo Partner Advantage Program offers two levels of partnership, each of which has a unique set of criteria. Partner membership is reviewed on a quarterly basis to ensure the appropriate level for each partner.

Drobo Authorized Partner

This level is for partners that sell Drobo and are interested in aligning and building a relationship with Drobo. Authorized Partners have access to online resources to promote and stay current on Drobo products and technology.

Drobo Certified Partner

Partners at the Certified Partner level have expertise in the storage market with a primary business focus on the business market. Certified Partners have a solid commitment to promoting and selling Drobo technology and developing a long-term partnership. VMware certification is also extremely valuable.

Program Requirements

Authorized Partner

  • Sign Drobo Partner Agreement, inclusive of MAP policy
  • Complete Partner Application

Certified Partner

  • Sign Drobo Partner Agreement
  • Complete Partner Application and identify key contacts
  • Must have at least two technical engineers within organization
  • Must have dedicated field sales team
  • Must invest in business-class NFR units
  • Must complete Drobo certification training (sales training and SE training)
  • Must participate in Quarterly Business Reviews
